Sal Da Vinci sells out Arena Flegrea: three nights full and surprise duet with Franco Ricciardi

Triple sold out for Sal Da Vinci at Arena Flegrea in Fuorigrotta, where last night the first of the artist's three Naples dates took place. As Il Roma reports, the audience responded with a unanimous chorus from the opening notes, in an evening that the newspaper describes as a triumph.

A setlist between hits and tradition

The great classics of Sal Da Vinci's career passed through the stage, from "Non riesco a farti innamorare" to "Fuga d'amore", passing through "Poesia" and "Una lettera e un mazzo di rose". Songs like "D'istinto e di cuore", "Ammore" and "L'amore e tu" were not missing.

Space was also given to classical Neapolitan tradition, with the artist reinterpreting pages like "Voce 'e notte" and "E spingule francese", alternating them with the liveliness of "Io mammete e tu" and "Come facette mammeta".

Guests on stage

Great enthusiasm when, to the notes of "Fai come vuoi", Franco Ricciardi took the stage for a duet: the two artists then performed "Primmavera" together, a hit by the guest singer from 2017. Valentina Stella was also present, who duetted in "Passione" and in "Puorteme cu te", a song written by the late Vincenzo D'Agostino.

The arrival on stage of son Francesco Da Vinci further warmed up the audience. Tonight will instead be the turn of brother Gino and, tomorrow, Andrea Sannino.

The tribute to Renato Zero

The evening closed with "Voglio ancora amarti" and "Cercami" by Renato Zero, before the grand finale to the notes of "Rossetto e caffè", sung at the top of their lungs by the entire Arena Flegrea. The concert was accompanied by a large live orchestra.

Tonight and tomorrow replicas are scheduled. Among the announced news, Sal Da Vinci's participation in the Raiuno program "Meravigliosamente", airing on November 20 and 27, dedicated to the 50 years of the artist's career, as well as a new album coming out in November with an unreleased track and some cover versions of international classics.
