Napoli-Frosinone, Allegri counts the injured: few substitutes available

Napoli return to action on Saturday October 10 at 20:45 at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona to face Frosinone in the sixth day of Serie A. As Il Napolista writes, Max Allegri risks having very few healthy players available given the long list of unavailable and doubtful ones.

Allegri towards 4-3-3

According to TuttoNapoli.net, during the break the coach had also worked on 3-4-2-1, but the new injuries to Favasuli and Olivera would push him to confirm the tried and tested 4-3-3. Between the posts Il Napolista indicates a possible competition between Meret and Milinkovic Savic, but TuttoNapoli.net's indications point to Meret's return.

Choices on the flanks are largely forced: on the right Di Lorenzo plays, while on the left there is hope for Spinazzola's recovery. At the center of defense, despite the returns of Beukema, Marianucci and the presence of Badiashile reported by Il Napolista, the latest indications point to the Rrahmani-Rafa Marin pairing.

Reduced midfield, Vergara in doubt

In midfield the situation remains delicate: Il Napolista reports that the only available players would be Gilmour, Lobotka and De Bruyne. According to TuttoNapoli.net the move is towards the double pivot Lobotka-Gilmour with De Bruyne more advanced. The conditions of Anguissa, who still trains separately, and McTominay, who will have to undergo a medical examination on Wednesday following surgery for benign cardiac arrhythmia, remain to be assessed.

In attack Hojlund is untouchable at the center of the trident, with Politano favored on one flank and the competition between Noa Lang and Vergara on the other side, although the youngster suffered a physical problem on international duty according to TuttoNapoli.net. Buongiorno and Alisson Santos also remain unavailable.

Frosinone, the championship surprise

Maximiliano Alvini's Frosinone arrive at the Maradona sixth in the table with 10 points against Napoli's 7 after five games, coming off a 2-0 win over Como. The Ciociaria team must however do without their leading striker, Raimondo, author of four goals and stopped by an Achilles tendon problem, as well as the newly injured Daniel Birligea. Bobcek should play in his place, the only striker by trade remaining at Alvini's disposal in the 4-2-3-1.

The Serie A precedents smile clearly at Napoli, unbeaten in six clashes with Frosinone (five wins and one draw). The last meeting at the Maradona, in April 2024, ended 2-2.

As TuttoNapoli.net reports, the match will be broadcast live on DAZN.
