Luna Rossa Triumphs in Naples Bay, Victory Lap and Celebration at Circolo Italia

Luna Rossa celebrates in the Naples bay. As reported by Sky Sport, la Repubblica and Il Mattino, the Italian crew conquered the America's Cup preliminary races, giving the Neapolitan public a victory lap before the official awards ceremony.

The salute to the public and the awards ceremony

After the success on water, Luna Rossa wanted to thank fans with a celebratory passage through the bay. The awards ceremony took place on the waterfront, at Rotonda Diaz, where the team arrived walking between two crowds before the customary interviews.

The celebration at Circolo Italia

Once the official celebrations ended, the squad moved to Santa Lucia, to the Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia, their home. Here the group, made up of forty people, celebrated with music and penne with olives, wearing the team's white, red and grey colors.

Among the evening's protagonists Peter Burling, who arrived at the club with his daughter, and Maria Giubilei, described by Il Mattino as the undisputed star of this America's Cup for her youth and charm. Also present was Marco Gradoni, who from the neighboring club started with the Optimist, winning the Campobasso twice.

For Luna Rossa, after the Naples stop, the next appointment is in Cagliari, awaiting the biggest challenge next year.
