Autumn Tales at Naples Botanical Garden: Five Traveling Shows Starting September 26

Starting September 26, the Naples Botanical Garden transforms into an open-air theater with the thirty-first edition of "Tales at the Botanical Garden," the "Autumn Tales" cycle created by the I Teatrini association together with the Federico II University. The festival, as reported by Repubblica Napoli, will continue until November 22 with five original traveling theater productions.

The program

It begins Saturday, September 26 with "The Magic Pied Piper," inspired by the Brothers Grimm, on stage on weekends until October 4. To follow are "Snow White's Mirror" (October 10, 11, 17, 18), "In the Land of Oz" by Baum (October 24, 25, 31 and November 1), "The Ugly Duckling" by Andersen (November 7, 8, 14, 15) and finally "The Forest Folk," directed by Giovanna Facciolo, on November 21 and 22.

The shows, all adapted by Facciolo, are designed as traveling routes through the paths of the park on via Foria, with performances for families on Saturdays and Sundays at 11 a.m., plus additional shows reserved for schools on weekdays.

"Fairy tales have guided children's growth for millennia," explained the director, emphasizing how the traveling format transforms nature into "a living character that awakens the senses."
