Castel dell'Ovo, videomapping dazzles the waterfront between the Siren Parthenope and America's Cup

The walls of Castel dell'Ovo, recently restored, have been transformed into a giant screen to tell Naples' story. At the end of the America's Cup pre-race, a spectacular videomapping took place on the waterfront that captured the attention of those present, as reported by Repubblica Napoli.

From the Siren Parthenope to the Vitruvian Man

The projected images retraced the myth of the siren Parthenope, linked to the city's origins, along with its history and most famous monuments. There was no shortage of a tribute to Italian genius, with the projection of Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man, leading all the way to a direct reference to the America's Cup.

The signature of the installation

The light show bears the signature of Artled by Sossio Pezzella and was promoted by the Municipality of Naples together with the Metropolitan City, according to the publication. The video of the installation, just under a minute long, shows the scenic effect achieved on the walls of the recently restored fortress.
