50 Top Pizza, ten years of awards: Capece of Confine among the most recent winners

The 50 Top Pizza project is approaching its tenth anniversary milestone: on November 25 in Milan a book will be presented that, as lucianopignataro.it explains, traces the transformations of Italian pizza from 2017 to today through the history of the Pizzaiolo of the Year award.

The names that made the award's history

Among the recognitions cited by the publication stands out the one awarded in 2024 to Francesco Capece, pizzaiolo of Confine, honored shortly after the opening of the restaurant which, it is stated, has generated the most talk in recent years in the pizza panorama.

The review also includes Simone Padoan, of the I Tigli pizzeria in San Bonifacio, indicated as the winner in 2020.

The Pascarella case in Europe
