Milan Becomes 883: Two Free Days at La Pelota Between Los Angeles and Pavia

Milan transforms for a weekend into a portal to the 1990s and the history of 883. Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th, from 11am to 7pm, La Pelota Jai Alai at via Palermo 10, in Brera, will host a free experience dedicated to Nord Sud Ovest Est, the Sky Original series directed by Sydney Sibilia coming October 9th on Sky and streaming on NOW.

As reported by Il Giorno, the journey takes the audience first to Los Angeles, where Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto shot the videoclip of the homonymous song in 1993, and then to Pavia, the city where the 883 story began.

The fan meeting with the actors

Saturday at around 12:30pm there is a special appointment with Elia Nuzzolo and Matteo Oscar Giuggioli, who in the series play Max and Mauro respectively. The two actors will share curiosities and behind-the-scenes stories from the production during a fan meeting open to the public.

From Los Angeles to Pavia

Each visitor will begin the journey at check-in, taking their own "883 flight" to Los Angeles. Here you can take a photo next to the red Cadillac from the videoclip and, in the Desert Area, record a mini-video in the Dance Cabin inspired by Repetto's dance moves. The heart of the American section is the Plaza Messicana, with stage and continuous entertainment featuring mariachis, dancers, an 883 tribute band and dj sets by Radio Deejay.

The journey ends in Pavia, where the small tavern used by Max and Mauro as a recording room has been recreated—where you can lip sync to their songs—and Max's bedroom, with a 1990s-themed gaming experience. There is also the opportunity to have your photo taken inside the cover of the Nord Sud Ovest Est album.

The initiative, organized by Sky and NOW and created by ParideVitale Agency, sees the participation of various partners including Dr. Martens AirWair Italy, Nintendo, Smemoranda and Interabilia.
