Gigacon in Scandicci, the Grand Finale Today: Cosplay, K-pop and Giorgio Vanni's Concert

It is the day of the grand finale for Gigacon, the event dedicated to comics and video games that has been animating Parco dell'Acciaiolo and the adjacent areas at piazzale della Resistenza. As reported by La Nazione, today the fair opens from 10 to 19 with a full program of concerts, contests and special guests.

The Opening Ceremony

The event was inaugurated yesterday in the presence of Mayor Claudia Sereni and Regional Councilor for Culture Cristina Manetti. The event is organized by Hidden Door S.r.l., with the patronage of the Municipality of Scandicci and the collaboration of Sicrea S.r.l., with the aim of becoming a reference point in the Florence metropolitan area.

What to See Today

On the main stage the program starts at 13 with Voci Incantate, followed by Q&A with Stephen Amell (14) and Evanna Lynch, the face of Harry Potter (14,45). At 15,30 and 16 there are concerts by YangDongHwa and JustB, then Voci in Scena at 17. The grand finale is entrusted to Giorgio Vanni's concert at 18.

In the Hall of Cosplay the day opens at 11 with the K-POP Dance Contest, followed by the Disney song battle at 13 and the Cosplay Competition. At 16 there is a live show by Giovanni Muciaccia, while at 17 it is the turn of the Florence Knights performance. From 10,15 to 18,30 photo and autograph sessions alternate, with a closing aperitif to end the day.
